Digital Product Passport

The Digital Product Passport is an initiative under the EU's Circular Economy Action Plan that aims to promote sustainable products and reduce waste. It will provide a digital record of a product's environmental impact throughout its lifecycle, including information from materials used to end-of-life options.

 

This initiative is part of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, and similar digital passports are also being developed for batteries under the EU Batteries Regulation.
